I really have a good excuse :)

Yes, I really do. I actually blew up our computer, literally!! A few weeks ago, I was putting the cord in to download pictures and it must have had static, cuz it blew up!!! It was smoking and everything! As I was without a computer, I realized two things. The first was how much I actually depend on a computer and the second was that I could actually do without a computer if I had to. I really prefer having a computer though. How else could I keep up with all my friends and their blogs. I guess I would actually call them more! I didn't realize how often I jump on the computer just to check out some little thing I wanted to know about or to find a recipe, so those kinds of things wouldn't be so right at my hands without a computer. I have made the decision not to be on the computer as much as I used to be though. So I am going to try to blog once a week and read others once a week. We'll see how that goes. I would have loved to post some of the pictures I had been planning on posting, but we lost them all. We had backed them up last year before Daxon was born, but from then to now, they are gone!!! So if anyone out there has some cute pictures of my kids, I would love if you could send them to me :) I've learned a lesson. We have tons of space on our camera card, so now I am not going to delete them until I have made a backup from the computer!! Hard lesson learned!!! I hope you all take something from this post.......you never know when you are going to fry your hard drive. I always thought it would never happen to me, but it did, so back up, back up, back up :)
