After it taking us an hour longer than usual, because of an accident on the highway, to get there, we arrived at about 1:30.
Here are all the kids being so awesome as we waited for the dads to get the canoes down to the river and then take the cars to the end of our river ride:)

Finally at about 3:30 it was time to load onto our boats.
Fun on the River
Kordin and Seth got to go on their own canoe. It was fun for them the first two hours, but when it turned into almost 4 hours, they were done:) They did so good!!
Then ended up tipping a couple of times, but were such good sports about it.
The river was pretty shallow in most places, so this happened alot:) The dads pulling the canoes throug the rocks:)

This picture was after the first time our canoe tipped. Daxon and Karson were still in a pretty good mood. But when we tipped for a second time not long after this picture, they were done and never want to go on a canoe again. Hopefully, they'll forget that part soon and want to do it again:)
We finished at about 8:00 just before it got dark. It was a long afternoon on the water, but still so much fun! These two families will definitely be our trip buddies for a long time:)

I love it, and I love your family! :) Tell the boys that I still remember how ticked I would get when the canoe would capsize at Grandma & Grandpa's. Never like to canoe for that reason :)
