Scouts and Pinewood Derby

Kordin is working on getting his Wolf Badge for Cub Scouts. I am lucky enough to be one of his den leaders with one of my best friends so we have lots of fun:) He did two of his big projects for it. First he made a planter. He did so great doing it all by himself. While other boys were needing help, he was just working away on his own:) Now we just have to add the rocks and soil and flowers:)

He also was in the Pinewood Derby. This was a fun activity for him and Keith. Keith had that thing down to the science. He know exactly where the weight needed to be and the shape it needed to be and it paid off:) Kordin won his first Pinewood Derby:)
