In January, Jana invited us to go hiking with her and the girls. Hiking in Arizona is much different than hiking in Utah:) You see a different kind of pretty:) I have always loved the huge Sequoia cactus that you see all over here!!!! And the bright yellow flowers:) This picture wasn't quite before the AZ bloom so you don't see them, but in another one later that I will post you can see the bright yellow everywhere :)

These girls you see in the picture are Kennedy and Ellie. They have become like part of our family this year. In August, Ellie's mom looked into putting her into my preschool and she was looking for someone to watch her for the rest of the day. I said I could help in August, but then we fell in love with these girls and I ended up watching them for the rest of this year. Kennedy is in kindergarten so she just comes over after school for an hour:) It's nice to have a little bit of girl energy once in awhile;)

The kids checking out the map:)

Great photos!
Love the prettiness of the desert. I call myself a desert chick because I find the desert SO beautiful. the lush green mountains uhhh, okay. But give me the arid desert and I LOVE it! Your family is adorable and i am so glad we have become blogging buddies. I love your post on the cousins visiting, too!
