One of the hardest things about moving this time around was saying good bye to close friends and family. This time I think I was being too tough about it, and thinking I would be just fine. I never really cried, just little tears would come up if I thought about leaving my amazing family and friends who all lived so close to us. They all did so much for us as we were packing and getting ready to leave. They kept our kids for us, let us sleep at their house , threw us going away parties, just things that show how much you are loved no matter what. On Sunday my friends, Carli and Charmay, threw a BBQ for my family +extended family. It was so much fun, because all of our kids are such good buddies and I was able to just hang out with my favorite people. Carli is my friend who lived down the street whose family just kind of meshed together with ours. Our kids had no problem just walking into each other's houses- that kind of meshing. Charmay is a friend who I got to know because Kordin and her son, Andrew, were in the same Kindergarten class and from there our families just became friends. I always think it is gold when you really like your kid's friend's parents, because then it is easy to all get together. We were lucky like that. I am crying right now as I think about these awesome girls who I came to love. I can't wait to see you again. Here are some fun pictures from that night.
