The Move

On June 1, after saying all of our goodbyes in Utah, we loaded up our 4 car caravan and headed south to AZ. We ended up having to take two trucks, so Keith drove the big truck, dad drove the 16 footer, mom drove Keith's car with Kordin, and I drove the Toyota with Daxon and Karson. I wish I had taken more pictures with everyone during our drive out, but this is all I got. We can't thank my mom and dad enough for being so willing to help us with the move. The first day, we drove all the way to Flagstaff, which is only an hour and a half from our new home, but that was about all we could've handled, since we were each in charge of a car and everyone was so tired. Tuesday morning we got up and drove down the mountain to our new house. As we were driving down, I got butterflies as I thought about this being my new home , because it was sooooo beautiful. Going from the gorgeous pine trees in Flagstaff to the beautiful desert landscape really made me grateful for the wonderful land we live in. We got in at about 10:30 and were unpacked by 2:00, took dad to the airport so he could get back to work, and started putting the house together. My mom stayed until Friday and made sure every box was unpacked and everything was in place before she left:) Thank you mom!! Then it was goodbye to her and tears and reality set in. I was far away from all of my family and friends :( But I knew Rachelle and her girls were coming soon, so that got me( and the boys) through the next week.

Thank you to all of our friends, sisters, mom and dad for helping with this move. We miss you and love you all!!!
