Christmas 2008

We got together with all my sister's at my mom's house on December 23 to celebrate my sister Lindsay's birthday. She was a Christmas Eve baby. We had a little program before we had her cake. Growing up it was always us kids' job to be a part of the program, but this year it was mostly all the grandkids. It was nice to just sit back and listen and watch :)
Kordin sang his songs from his School Jingle Jam: I want a hippopotamus for Christmas and The Chipmunk Christmas Song. I'll try to post the video. Whitney and Morgen sang a medley of Christmas songs with Erica as the pianist.

Then on Christmas Eve, Keith and I decided that we didn't want to have to go anywhere, so we stayed home and invited anyone who wanted to join us for Chili. Lindsay, Mike, his mom, Bev, and my mom joined us. It was a very nice
Christmas Eve to just hang out with some family at our house.

Kordin's first 2nd family even stopped by to bring presents. I have talked to many of you about Kordin's amazing first babysitter, Mary Ann and her family, who treated him like their own. We sure love them and will always be grateful for the love they gave him his first few years of his life when I was working!!!!

When everyone left, Kordin reminded us we needed leave the reindeer glitter outside on the sidewalk for the Reindeer to be able to see our house better and to make cookies for Santa:)

On Christmas morning, the boys woke up to some great presents from Santa.
Daxon got mostly tractors- his new favorite thing. He loved his scooter, too.

Kordin got all of his Xbox games he wanted from Santa and thes great new Bakugan toys.

All Karson ever asked Santa for was this yellow Bumblebee Transformer , so he got that, but Santa couldn't resist getting him a remote control, too :)

Me thanking Karsi for the scarf/ hat/gloves.

Keith taking care of the after-Christmas mess:)

Once it was all cleaned up, Keith took the boys out for a Christmas day sledding adventure. Of course they had a blast!!!

Later that afternoon, we went to dad's with all of my sisters and had Christmas dinner there. It was nice to just hang out with the family. Here is a picture we got with all the cousins. Next year there will be two more, as Rachelle is due in March and Krista is due in May :)

Christmas looks so fun! I'm glad you guys had a good time. Staying home for Christmas Eve sounds nice - sometimes that's the best. Last Christmas we stayed home and it was really fun. (Although I was nervous of how it would be.) And I love the new red scooter - it's been the best toy for Benjamin. he loves his. :)
Hey, what is your mom's new website name? Ruth and I would like to order more wheat gluten and dough enhancer but I can't remember the website anymore since she changed the name. :)
