End of the summer

For those of you who have been clicking on my blog and have kept seeing 100th Post, you were probably thinking, "Now that she got to 100, maybe she is never going to post again!" But that's not the case. I've just hardly had time to even sit down at the computer. So now I am way behind and I am wanting to catch up, cuz it's time to print my first yearly blog book. If any of you have a good idea of how to do this, let me know. I know all about the Blurbing, but it seems I've heard that you can also print it all by yourself????

Now to the business of our summer. We just really had such a great summer. It was so nice to have Kordin home and I'm actually not ready for him to start back to school. He is very excited, though. He told me the other day that now that he is going to be a first grader, he gets to eat lunch there AND have 3 recesses on the big playground! I'm so glad he's happy about the little things :) It will be strange to have him gone all day, as he was only gone half day for kindergarten. I know Karson will really miss him, but he and Daxon are good buddies, so he should be o.k.

We really didn't do any kind of big summer trip but we did do two fun small trips thanks to my mom who is very generous. Our first trip actually began on Kordin's last day of school. My mom rented a great house on a golf course in St. George. My sister's husband, Tim, had a big birthday weekend there, so all of the family went up to celebrate for a few days. Here are some fun pictures from that.
Here is how pretty the house was from the front. This is the kind of house Keith and I would love to end up in when we are all through with this medical school journey :)

This was the veiw from our back yard over the pool. This is looking onto the Entrada Golf Course.(for all you High School Musical fans, this is where the 2nd one was filmed)

Kordin with my Aunt Lori. I love the red rocks in the background!

Kordin doing his dive :)

I love this picture of Karson showing Daxon the fun wind turner.

Here are Keith and I getting ready to go play golf. My mom watched all the boys while we played 18 holes.

My mom with my niece, Sophie.

My 3 boys taking a break from the heat.

Kordin and Karson getting ready for a walk.

Krista with Daxon on our walk.

Erica, Brandon, my dad, Lindsay and Sophie on their way home.

Our second summer vacation was also thanks to my mom. She rented a beautiful place up in Park City during the 24th of July weekend. It was so much fun. We had the pool and a tennis court right outside our back door, so Keith and I began playing tennis and kind of got addicted. The boys enjoyed the hot tub outside our door, too :)

The front of the house

Karson going on one of his bike rides with nana

One day we went up to the Alpine Slides and all went down. Kordin is on the far left and then Karson and Keith are on the right.
As we were leaving I captured this picture. I just love it of all my boys :)

One day my mom rented a boat for the afternoon and our friends, Jack and Jodi and their four boys came up. It was sooo much fun. Here is Kordin with Jace, Jeremy and Justin. Justin was Kordin's very first friend when he was 1.

Mom and Daxon-the twins :)

My good looking husband telling the boat to go faster as he jumps the wakes :)

This was about as far as I got out of the water on the wake board :) And I used to be so good :) I do much better on the tube.

Keith and Kordin going crazy on the tube. My little Kordin holds on for dear life and flies all of the place. It's soooo fun to watch him :)
That about covers our summer vacations for the summer. We just had so much fun. Thanks, mom, for the fun times :)

Finally! Thanks for the new post. It was pretty funny that you had to recap your summer from St. George (which happened almost 3 months ago :-).

I can't believe Kordy is going to be a 1st grader! Man, he is going to be heart breaker :-).

Your boys are SOOO cute!

Hello! Hey - my cousin had a blurg book made. It looks pretty cool if you want to check it out. Here is a link to her post: http://katy-lifeasanolson.blogspot.

(It looks like you'll have to cut & paste it!)

Who is Kordin's first grade teacher? Is it who you wanted?

That's the nice thing about Google reader, you don't have to check for posts all the time...What a cool house you guys stayed in out there! Kordin did such a great job with his talk today. Let's try & get together before this baby makes his appearance!

You guys are so blessed! What wonderful vacations and what a generous mom! I'm glad you had so much fun together.
I enjoy reading about the fun things you do as a family together. I want to always be close to my kids. Thanks for the great example! It helps me see that it's really possible :)
