Happy Birthday Kordin

Six years ago, on Father's Day(so when he's a father, once in awhile, he will be celebrating two separate occasions), at 6:04 p.m., my sweet, oldest son, Kordin, came into this world. He was always so fun as a baby when he didn't have stomach pains. I remember, he would try to catch people's eyes whenever we were at the store and then he would smile at them. He was always so social.
I am just so proud of him, and absolutely adore him, as he is such a great kid! Right now, his favorite thing to do is play with his best buddies, Andrew and Carson, and his cousins, Whitney and Morgen. He's enjoying playing t-ball right now and really could be in coach pitch, as he can hit the balls Keith throws to him. He also loves to play his XBox game Lego Star Wars and his newest Kung Fu Panda(he got that for his birthday). He has carried out the Star Wars game into playing it in real life with is buddies when I tell him to go outside and play. They are pretty creative kids :) He loves to ride his bike and his 4 wheeler with his dad. However, last week, when his buddy, Benjamin, was here from Missouri, Kordin had his first 4-wheeler battle wound when he flew off the front and scraped his stomach, so now he is a bit more cautious. Kordin is the cutest with little babies right now. When we were in St. George a few weeks ago, his 8 month old niece, Sophie, was talking to him and he said so seriously, in a cute high little voice, looking into her eyes, "Sophie, I don't understand your baby talk. I only understand Daxon babytalk." This just shows how sweet he is :) Right now he is worried about everyone growing up and getting older too fast. He tells us he wants to live with us forever. We'll just see how he feels about that in another 12 years.Happy Birthday, Kordin! Your mommy and daddy couldn't ask for a better son.

What a cute kid you've got there! I can't believe he's already going to be a 1st grader. I remember him toddling around the halls at Westfield and it seems like just yesterday. Wow.

Happy Birthday Kordin! It's fun to see all the pics of your family, Rebecca. I'm glad you are doing so great!

Hey Rebecca, did you ever post details about your FHE group? I saw in your comment on Valerie's blog that you were going to do that. Atleast that's what I thought I remember seeing... :) If you have an FHE group and have ideas on how to pull it off, will you email me? :) You have my email, I'm sure. For some reason I'm always a little wary of posting it on blogs. I'm weird I guess! Or you can leave a comment on my blog if you want to, with the details. :)
