Happy First Birthday, Sweet little Daxon!!!

Today is Daxon's 1st Birthday!!!! Here is a picture of him when he was just 3 days old with his two big brothers.
Daxon was our surprise baby. We weren't really plannning on having him until this next year during Keith's 4th year of med school. But I can't imagine not having him in our family during this last year!!! He has blessed our family in so many ways. He is just the biggest joy to be around. His brothers adore him and he adores them. Right now he is on the verge of walking and mimmicks everything anyone says to him. He says "up" perfectly with a huge emphasis on the 'p'. He just has the sweetest little voice. His favorite thing right now is to hide anywhere that is a tight squeeze. Here are a couple of pictures of those places. Most of the time I find him under my sink in my bathroom, though :)

Another pretty impressive thing he does is chew gum. He will keep a piece of gum in his mouth for more than a half hour at a time. I think it feels good on his gums as he is finally teething! He is so funny with gum. If he sees me even look like I am chewing gum, he'll say , "Mo?"(he thinks more means food or eat, as he says "mo?" anytime he wants to eat something) and dig into my mouth for the gum he thinks is there.


We sure love this sweet little guy and are so thankful that Heavenly Father trusted him in our care here on this earth!
